The University of Minnesota Consortium on Aging (UMN-CoA) aims to create an interconnected community of aging studies researchers and leaders that identifies opportunities, activities, and mechanisms to better engage within and across these different groups and programs with interests in aging at the University of Minnesota.

An interdisciplinary collaboration of leaders across the University to advance aging science as a focus of academic interest, clinical need, policy development, and educational innovation, the UMN-CoA includes representatives and directors from 10 centers and institutes from the University of Minnesota, University of Minnesota-Duluth, and the Minneapolis VA Geriatric Research, Education, and Clinical Center.

The UMN-CoA meets periodically to share information about current initiatives in aging at the University; discuss collaborative opportunities across programs and units; and to identify ways in which the Consortium can advance aging science at the University of Minnesota.
